Modifications to the carding machine by the buyer for roughing strips of materials such as neoprene, hypalon, PVC, etc. involve blocking the lower drive and possibly replacing the drive roller shown in the image with an abrasive one, so as not to have to replace the sandpaper frequently and to achieve a perfectly smooth surface. An inverter can also be installed for a customized rotation speed.
