SPECIAL FEATURES:
The fundamental, completely original feature of the BA 400 cartoners lies in the way in which the loading/unloading and carton forming system was designed. The magazine is positioned beneath the product conveyor and on the operator's side, allowing for maximum ease of loading. The positive-motion pickup and forming drum allows the cartons to be unbent 180°, ensuring proper unbent positioning. This allows the translation drum to insert them into the conveyor chain and ensure perfect centering against the trays containing the product. The machine's mechanics consist of two drive boxes, one fixed and one automatically adjustable via servo control, for format adjustment. The pusher unit, on the opposite side of the operator, allows for maneuverability and excellent accessibility to every point of the machine. The centralized and rapid adjustments of the product and carton conveyor chains, and the tool-free rapid format fixing systems, allow for quick and safe format changes and adjustments. The machine is complete with a brochure folder and ARGUS LAETUS control system.
