This used Bardi complete bottling line for 5-gallon bottles features a decapper designed to remove the cap from returned bottles.

The PLC manages all automatic and manual functions to record statistics on incoming bottles, meaning this unit can be upgraded to recognize and reject potentially contaminated bottles. A combination of a digital camera and fiber optic detectors allows returned bottles to be rejected under the following conditions:

It is able to guarantee the highest level of hygienic quality of bottles on the market, so much so that the factors that influence cleaning performance and treatment time are the result of a customized washing cycle in terms of number of stations and phases according to the customer's standards and requirements.

The recommended washing cycle includes 6 main phases which are the following:

TEMPERATURE:

Constant temperature monitoring is essential to be able to wash the bottles according to the preset values ​​(between 60 and 65°C) this means that an alarm stops the washing machine if these pressure set points are not respected and to optimize the washing process, therefore the washing machine is equipped with a high pressure system, this allows to increase the pressure of the washing jet up to 6 bar and can be installed on one or more stations of the washing phase and is particularly suitable for bottles that are difficult to clean (hollow handles, shaped bottles)

Bardi, in collaboration with the main multinational chemical company, has developed a cleaning protocol in order to guarantee, after the washing treatment, a bottle compliant with international hygiene and health standards and this protocol recommends specific products of different brands, with adequate concentration and temperature of the solution (water + chemical) for each phase of the wash cycle.
