The SMC-241 thermal transfer overprinter operates intermittently with only electric control and is suitable for printing on bags produced, particularly on vertical packaging machines such as FF&S. Compact in size, it takes up little space and is equipped with a motor and proximity switches for activation. Easy to install, it is widely used for printing data such as product expiration dates and production batch numbers in the food, pharmaceutical, beverage, and other industries. Thermal printing technology uses a pigmented ribbon instead of ink and allows for sharp prints on a variety of flexible packaging materials, except metal-based materials. The SMC-241 is particularly easy to use and requires no special maintenance.
