In addition to various mixing variants, the MP-X can emulsify, disperse, suspend, crush, charge, knead, and dry. In addition to regular R&D applications, the MP-X laboratory mixer is ideal for simulating scale-up production mixers. In close collaboration with Symrise, the laboratory mixer has been continuously developed and tested in empirical studies. Various formulations have been produced at laboratory scale using the MP-X and various production-scale mixers, and their rheology has been examined. By adjusting the mixing parameters and the mixing tool used, scalable and transferable predictions about the quality of the final product can be made.
