DETAILS: The model 760 autoclave is a steam sterilizer designed for reliable and efficient sterilization cycles, operating at an operating pressure of 1 atm, corresponding to a sterilization temperature of 121°C, compliant with standard parameters for saturated steam sterilization. The unit is equipped with a 20-liter sterilization chamber made of stainless steel, built in compliance with the requirements of Directive 97/23/EC (PED). The stainless steel lid with mechanical locking system ensures safety during operation. Heating is provided by a radial plate electric resistance, controlled by a timer adjustable from 0 to 120 minutes, for precise control of the sterilization cycle. Process parameters are monitored by an analog pressure gauge and a digital thermometer. Operational safety is guaranteed by a protection sensor with manual reset in case of lack of water. The autoclave is complete with a main switch and indicator lights. The external case in acid-resistant powder-coated steel ensures robustness and ease of cleaning. For the sterilization cycle, 3 liters of deionized or demineralized water are sufficient, making the unit particularly energy efficient. Thanks to the capacity and operating pressure limits, the autoclave is not subject to ISPESL inspections.
