MACHINE AVAILABLE IMMEDIATELY
The CL EXTREMA machining center manufactured by SYSTEM ROBOT AUTOMAZIONE SRL is a 5-axis CNC machine designed for high-precision machining of materials such as aluminum and composites. This 2008 machine is particularly suitable for the aerospace, marine, railway, ground transportation, and energy industries due to its ability to machine large, complex structural components.
The CL EXTREMA machining center features a mobile gantry structure with Cartesian axes, ensuring high rigidity and stability even under dynamic stress. The machine travels 4000 mm on the Y axis, 3000 mm on the X axis, and 1200 mm on the Z axis. The worktable measures 5000 x 2500 mm and can be configured with various solutions, such as monolithic tables with T-slots or custom structures.
The heart of the machine is a 30 kW electrospindle, capable of reaching a rotation speed of 22,000 rpm, ideal for high-speed milling of aluminum and rolled materials. The machine includes an automatic tool changer with a capacity of 8 tools with HSK 63A tapers. Control is provided by a SELCA S4045 PDH system with 3D incremental encoder, which allows for precise and continuous axis control and the use of oriented tools, including rigid tapping.
The CL EXTREMA is designed for machining operations that require high removal rates while maintaining high precision. It is ideal for milling glass or carbon fiber-reinforced materials and can be used for molds, models, and complex structural components. To use the machine, you must correctly configure the parameters in the numerical control, select the appropriate tool, and set the speed and feed rates based on the material being machined. The feed rate reaches 70,000 mm/min on the X and Y axes and 60,000 mm/min on the Z axis.
Compatible accessories include dust extraction systems, cooling devices, and laser measurement systems for tool calibration. For optimal maintenance, it's important to keep the rails and lubrication systems clean, regularly check tool wear, and monitor the condition of the electrospindle.
To evaluate whether a used CL EXTREMA machining center is a good choice, it's essential to check the condition of the guides, spindle, and electronic components. A thorough inspection of the structural integrity and control system capabilities will help determine the machine's overall condition. Purchasing a used model can offer excellent value, especially if it comes with a 12-month warranty, as offered by trusted dealers
