MACHINE TYPE:
The NEWPOCKET is a fully automatic horizontal case packer with only mechanical cam movements, and pneumatic servo-assists for additional functions. The machine can group single or wrapped products in various types of packaging and place them inside cartons previously assembled by the machine itself. The machine is also equipped with a unit that allows for the closing of the carton. The work cycle is defined by the following operations: Product Feeding, Product Grouping, Carton Picking and Erection, Carton Filling, Carton Flap Folding, and Carton Closing with Hot Glue.

SPECIAL FEATURES:
The machine is suitable for small to medium-sized products to be processed at high speeds. It allows for various groupings and configurations. The electronic infeed system consists of two infeed belts, two pairs of motorized lateral belts (one horizontal and one vertical), a stacking unit, and a transfer unit (pusher). Products arriving from the upstream machine are conveyed to the stratification station, which separates them from the incoming flow and stacks them from top to bottom using a mechanical mechanism. The product is then stratified vertically until the desired composition is achieved, which is transferred by the infeed pusher to the loading hopper. The machine pusher transfers the grouped product into the previously packaged carton by two suction cup arms that pick it up from the storage area above. Once loading is complete, the machine pusher moves to the standby position, the loading operations described above are repeated, and the comb begins moving the carton. The comb carries out the translation by folding the carton flaps and transporting it to the closing station. Then a new carton is picked up and placed in volume, and at the same time the comb returns to the cycle start position. The machine performs the cycle described above automatically. The machine is complete with a NORDSON Mod. ProBlue 4 gluer.
