With the TBH 28 hardness tester, the force increase is achieved by a DC motor through a constant increase in the supply voltage. The force values ​​are recorded continuously every 5 ms. At the breaking load, the highest value is taken, followed by two decreasing values. Using this detection method, peaks are eliminated.
