MACHINE TYPE:
UV flexographic printing system for in-line single-color printing on aluminum blister sheets or plastic films. The Hapa 231 is a compact, pedestal-mounted flexographic system designed to print single color on a variety of substrates, including aluminum, PVC, and Tyvek. The system is easily integrated into continuous-motion or intermittent-motion packaging machines.

SPECIAL FEATURES:
The Hapa 231 printer is designed to print on ribbon using ink that is then fixed by UV irradiation. The printer operates in phase. The printing principle essentially involves the rotation of a printing cylinder on a flat printing table. The material to be printed is placed on the table. Underneath the table is an ultraviolet unit equipped with a lamp and reflector that makes one stroke with each printing cycle. The radiation energy triggers a polymerization process in the printing ink. In this way the surface of the print hardens immediately thus avoiding smudging. Last use: printing on aluminium from blister cover.
