SPECIAL FEATURES:
The Varian HS 602 two-stage rotary vane pump is oil-sealed and driven by a single-phase electric motor. The pump operates with forced lubrication, provided by an auxiliary gear pump driven by the vacuum pump rotor itself. This ensures proper lubrication even at near-atmospheric pressures. The entire functional block of the Varian HS 602 pump is immersed in the oil contained in the body. The oil ensures a perfect seal of the exhaust valves, enters the pump to ensure lubrication and sealing of the internal parts, facilitates heat dissipation and reduces pump noise. The HS 602 pump is equipped with a special anti-suckback device that automatically isolates the vacuum system when stopped. This prevents pressure or oil flow increases in the vacuum system as air is returned to the stator chambers.
