The Melag 17 is designed for use in the medical field, particularly if the instruments used and the type of packaging do not require an autoclave with type “B” cycles. According to DIN EN 13060, the autoclave described here is a sterilizer with type “S” cycles. It is a universal autoclave, suitable for sterilizing packaged/unpackaged solid instruments, simple hollow objects, and small quantities of textiles. This device is not intended for use on patients or in patient treatment areas.

SPECIAL FEATURES:
The Melag 17 is a German-made steam sterilizer autoclave, requiring a 230 V power supply and a power of 1800 W. It has two operating programs: operating pressure of 1 bar, time 50 min at a temperature of 121° C, and operating pressure of 2 bar, time 30 min at a temperature of 134° C. All display systems, pressure gauges, and thermometers are integrated into the main panel of the machine, which requires not only a power supply but also distilled water with simple and convenient manual filling; specifically, 300 ml of water is used for one cycle. On the front of the autoclave, there is a connection for draining the waste liquid using a convenient drain button. The machine comes with the accessories shown in the photo.
