MACHINE DESCRIPTION
The WP 150 has been specially designed as a production model that meets the highest requirements and standards of the pharmaceutical industry. Thanks to the improved deaeration capacity, more raw materials can be processed in a given period, leading to more efficient operations. Alexanderwerk roller compactors produce the highest quality granules of all other compactors. This is primarily due to the fact that Alexanderwerk has optimized the entire compaction and granulation process.

SPECIAL FEATURES
This model offers the possibility of meeting various granulation size requirements with the help of the roller press and the rotary screen of the fine granulator. This equipment can be adapted to an extremely wide range of applications. The unit is equipped with an RFG 150N fine granulator and an SKM/R gear motor. Thanks to its modular design, the WP 150 can be almost completely dismantled without special tools. Roller compaction is a highly efficient method of compacting bulk materials. The starting material is compacted in the roller compaction unit by counter-rotating rollers. Among other features, the WP series roller compactors are characterized by their particularly gentle crushing. Furthermore, the compaction process is unique, as the vertically arranged rollers, combined with a special control logic, continuously produce material of a consistent thickness and density, which is essential for consistent granule quality.
The rotary fine granulator is designed for size reduction by fine granulation in a continuous process. Dry, agglomerated or slightly moist material is converted into granules. In fine granulation, a rotor slides into a diagonally positioned screen. Crushing is accomplished by the rotor bars and compression. The rotor draws the virgin product into the working cavity and crushes it, allowing the material to pass through the screen.
